yeah, any newer card should be able to squeeze in there, looks like sufficient room here http://www.support.gateway.com/s/CAS...07057Riv.shtml

Well my old card barely fit in there with a gap under an inch between it and where the hard drive cage is.

And I have a feeling that way will end up costing me quite a bit of money.

Nevermind asking at other places, none of them really did much in the way of helping. However, I have one last question. Is there a site that will tell how long each card is, or tell how long some of the cards I've been looking at are?

![]() The 9800 / 8800GT I believe is like somewhere 2 - 3 inches shorter. and I wouldn't rely on those employees nor buy from them.. a) overpriced- an old 7300GT at futureshop is $120 ***? gtx 260 @ $320 b) sometimes lie to get sales or don't know enough for $200, you have two options: a) be futureproof and get an antec 900 + 9800GT (or just 4670 / 9600GSO) b) measure manually and hope you have 10.5inch of clearance and go for a gtx 260 / 4870. Remember, you can always move the hard drive up/down to make room

Get a tape measure out, and measure the space you have, and I will tell you if a 4850 will fit in there.
It should, I had an X1900GT not too long ago, and the 4850 is only 1\2" longer I think.
