but now physx is disabled !, even if i remove the ati card, physx control panel just leads me to nvidia control panel 3d settings
so now i see that nvidia has REMOVED SUPPORT FOR PHYSX on any cuda gfx with less than 32 stream processors (8500gt, 9400gt and lower) starting from physx drivers 9.09 (you can even go to their page, it's not there), even though its perfectly capable of doing it (you might say its slow and i should just get another gfx, but 8500gt is fine for just physx, much better than software physx thats for sure)

about the cooperation ATI+NVIDIA, i have attached 191.07 patched nvapi.dl_ and nvapi64.dl_ so you can replace them BEFORE installing the driver, and dont have to mess with finicky uninstall then reboot, then install, then patch before reboot, just install the drivers normally and your nvapi*.dll will already be installed patched. (this still doesnt fix my 8500gt problem though)

and if you want to run 9.09 physx with a card with less than 32 SP, i have attached the physxcore.dll from 8.09 but with version information edited to match version of 9.09 physxcore.dll. Extract to ageia dir in program files and batman will work (batman explicitly checks physxcore.dll version). Note that this isn't ideal, because it's like youre still using 8.09, and will miss out on any optimizations they introduced in 9.09, but it's the only way if you have a crappy nvidia gfx
Thanks for the update, would you mind if I added your information to the first post?

i've benchmarked this with an 4870 1GB and 1 9600GT.

here is the link to my spreadsheet:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...=0&output=html

I must say that FarCry2 and GTA4 aren't PhysX Games so maybe they don't use it but atm i don't have any other games to bench.. sorry for that

I have not tested it but the principle is the same, unfortunately I don't have a crossfire setup to test with.
