i'd also say x1650pro becuase i had one before i swapped it for an XT then upgraded to a 9600 and it was pretty good with most of the games i played and for what you want to do it will be just fine.

2400 =/= 3450 and 512MB is not always better then 256MB.

But another thing is the 4350 is $5 more then the 3450(in the US) have you looked at the 4350 yet?

Just having Direct X10 "capability" doesn't mean the card has enough power to utilize it

The 2400PRO and the 3450 have the same architecture
The only difference is 65nm vs 55nm
