Nice! Furmark score is a little weird for the HD3850

I noticed that with furmark. For the first half of my testing, it scaled perfectly, but as soon as I touched the HD3000 series it went haywire and scaled better than the 4000 series. In my opinion, the Furmark HD3000 scores can be ignored, since the whole series seemed to act funky with the program.

Ahh, I wasnt fortunate enough to get ahold of a 2000 series in time. I would have loved to bench a 2900XT hehe.
So the clear winner here was the GTX 260, even with its modest overclock (its capable of 700 core, but I wanted to get the max stable clock for these tests). But which is the runner up? Think price vs. performance here. HD4850 w/ pencil vmod which was only $120? HD3870X2, which only cost $135? HD4870 which was only $150? (all used). The 1GB 9800GTX+ was definitely a disappointment.
