Don't really understand your ranking at the top? gtx295 is still faster than 5870 in most spots, and 5850 as well as 4850x2 are both certainly faster than a gtx 285.

He might have been basing that off the terrible PC Perspective review. It showed the 5850 being barely faster than a GTX 275, when all of the other reviews, including the always reliable Guru3d, show it dominating the GTX 285.
