If you looked at the actual game benchmarks, you'd see that the 4870 is better than the GTS250.
(It is merely a 9800GTX+ after all.)

Your chart has the GTS250 above the 4870

is this right.... the 4890 crossfire (not TRI fire) beats the GTX 285s in Tri SLI??? if so arent the 285s so heavily overpriced!!!!
