Default I Need a Cheap PCI Video Card

Hey I was wondering what the cheapest PCI graphics card I could get was. Im gona use eVGA's step up program to turn my 7800 GT into a 7800 GTX or GTX KO. However I have to send them my old card before they'll ship me the new one. So I need a cheap PCI card that will run XP (perferably with a DVI out but not necessary).

I would post this in the Wanted section, but my rep is only 50.

This is what im lookin at right now http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16814102447R

Thanks for the help.

EDIT: I am willing to buy used ones from members.

Probably a stupid question, but before you do this, have you tried to unlock the extra 4 pipes already?

The older ones were unlockable. You're not risking anything, it's a simple procedure. I'll edit this if I can find the link to a quick walkthrough. It will either work or won't work, but it can't hurt to try it. If it works, you just saved yourself some dough. If not,no harm done

I new about the older ones, but i thought that they just started making the 7800GT with only 20 not 24 and locking the other 4. But i don;t know, when did you buy your card.

Edit: PCI or PCI Express

I just picked up the Visiontek ATI Radeon 7K card. It's a straight PCI card that costed me about 50 smacks. It runs incredibly, even offering dual-monitor support. If you're looking for a powerhouse for little bux, check it out.
