Just wondering. Trying to decide what graphics card I need to get next.

I wouldnt put that on an nForce4 chipset. Whatever CPU is in their will be a huge bottleneck

It will work 100% You just cant crossfire it with another or anything else.

Its an Athlon 64 X2 dual core 3800+. Forgive me guys I just dont know that much about these things. Someone help me out. What is the best bang for my buck then as far as graphics cards or should I just be thinking about building a whole new system?

btw I was looking into overclocking my 3800+. I have a water cooled system that came with the comp when I had it built and have never really pushed it.

Okay I missed this I guess sorry.

The card will work you say, but will it work itself in crossfire since its a dual GPU card? I read somewhere that it wouldnt. Just wanted to make sure before I make a purchase.

The card itself will work, just the rest of the system will probably be so slow that you won't see the benefit of having such a strong card.
