Looking for a new.. something.
So, my birthday was yesterday.. and I'm trying to figure out what I want.. still. I've been looking at keyboards and graphics cards, but I'm really unsure about what's really worth it. Help me out!
Mainly I'm looking at video cards. Right now I have an 8800GTS. I'm wanting to upgrade that to something better, but I'm not sure what's good. I've been doing some research.. but there are so many arguments about what's better and what's not.. it's getting pretty confusing. I would just SLI my 8800GTS.. if it was still being sold. My Motherboard: P5N-E SLI My Videocard: 8800GTS 640MB Thanks!

You could get a second hand GTS or go for a GTX 260 or above as anything below won't be much quicker than 8800GTS.

Yeah, I've been looking at the GTX 260's and the ATI 4850 - 4890's. I'll look into some used 8800's though. Well, going to work. I'll be back later to see if there are any other suggestions.

It depends on how much money you have. GTX 260 is a good balance of price/performance. HD4890 or GTX 275 if you have extra money.

If you waited this long im sure you can wait a few more months till the DX11 gpu's come out. Im sure the 800GTS still plays almost all games great. You could also get a sound card.

I'm selling two 4870s in my sale thread. One has stock cooling with stock speeds, the other with a factory aftermarket and OC. Selling one or the other.
