If the 4890 is not overclocked, but again, can you just stop and read through some of the information 1st. The link I posted page 1, and then the results on page 2 at the top, both show that a 4890 is very close in performance to a 285. In certain applications the 4890 wins, and visa versa, there is no definite winner for performance.

I know, I'm saying percentage increases, not clock increases.

4890 = 20% OC on average
285 = 10% OC on average

Again, someone say something if I am wrong, this is just the general impression I've been given.

4850 X2 = GTX285 > 1Ghz clocked or lower 4890

In most game titles, not all. Some games, the GTX285 beats both, sometimes the 4890 beats both.

I posed you a link on page one of GTX 285 OC vs HD 4890 OC. They are equal, the choice is yours.

Now, if we could then refer back to poast #2, I believe I predicted getting to no conclusion as in the other million similar threads...I think we need someone with many of the newer cards to just make a sticky of this nonsense and end these threads.

Folding is the one place where the GTX 285 really shines compared to the 4890.

But what I really would want to see is a comparison between the two of them, exactly like the Megahalem versus the TRUE.
