Default NEW GFX CARD - 9800 GT or ATI 4770

Hi, i need some help deciding what graphics card to upgrade to from my 7900GT which has recently passed away

im looking at either of the 9800GT or 4770, which is best for gaming an performance, an which will last longer and still be able to run newer games decently for the nxt couple of years?

im not one for brand loyalty so whichever is better will suit me, n also if you could tell me which specific make is cheapest is best to go for would be great

many thanks!!

EDIT: thinking of getting a 4850 or a 4770 now?, i found a 4850 selling at £70.. wat do ppl think?

If you want to fold also get the 9800 GT and if not then get the 4770, IMO.

4770, later down the road with a bios flash and soft v-mod, it can OC above and beyond what the 9800GT could ever hope of, not to mention the mem chips are rated much higher than they are set at stock.
