I just got my rig fixed and im looking to upgrade. As it stands, it had an awful time playing crysis. I plan to upgrade the cpu and graphics.

Definitely upgrade to a single better card, even a Gtx 260 will beat two 8800 gts in sli
sell your 8800 gts and use that towards an upgrade.

Your GFX card has little ram and that is one of it's problems. I think you would be better off getting a better card. SLI might help performance wise but not if you intend to use a lot of eye candy and higher end resolutions.
Good Luck, N2G

Yeah get a new card instead. Probably a GTX 260 should settle it.

If you had the 512MB 8800 I might say go SLI, but I strongly say upgrade to >260, if you want to stick to Nvidia.
For brands, stick to EVGA or XFX. Double lifetime warranties, and good RMA service, at least for GPUs. Have seen some issue with mobos for EVGA.
