![]() 8800GTX only beats the 8800GT at high resolutions which is kinda obvious thanks to the bus width and extra video ram. Although:

The best card nvidia ever made was the Geforce2 MX line of card honestly they sold more cards over there lifespan than any card before or after. And where still viable cards into 2006. Thats a legacy for you

3DFX Voodoo 5 5500 should have been the specific card for the Voodoo lineup (not the 6000 since it really never made it to retail).

Is the 8800GS/9600GSO listed? It is easily one of the best cards ever.
Last winter.... these cards were already $35-50. You can get near the performance of $150+ cards (8800GT pricing a year ago).

The 8800GT comes very close and surpasses on lower resolution games where the faster clock speeds play more of a role as opposed to framebuffer bus width.
