The 7800GTX is better than the X1800XT. Not by much but it is. You say the X800XT/XTPE is better than a 6800Ultra? I dont think it is.

Ok lets settle this once and for all. The X1800XT clearly beats the 7800GTX 256 in everything except for Age of Empires 3. http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/vid...ames-2005.html

I second that fact jeremy.

And its too bad there isnt any good xt vs 512gtx. Because id still put the money on the xt.

Plus the XT overclocks to hell and back. Over at xtreme people are breaking like 12k with 1 xt...cccrrazzy

just wondering... are u willing to tell me how much lower my video card is from everything? its VERY-VERY crappy one and i even considered getting a 9600se to improve it. its not an ati or nvidia or anythin, its some crappy S3 one.

fx 5200 got 17fps on need for speed underground at 1024*768 with 2x Anti Aliasing and no extra details . mx 440 scored 21fps

DO NOT! Get a 9600 SE, get th XT at least. The SE only has a 64bit memory bus while the XT has higher clocks and a 128bit memory

Definetly get the 9600XT at least. Its about twice as powerful as the 9600SE.
