Mine is at stock OCed 925 core vs the regular stock 880 core and I can still crank it to 1000 core.

But really in single GPU 4890 gets beat by a little but in multi GPU 4890 wins.

3 4890's beat out 3 GTX285's.

Sure in crysis because it has very bad scaling for nvidia. But in general 3 GTX 285s are still the fastest video card setup you can have. Well perhaps 2 Asus Mars GTX 295 would be the fastest setup. I'm not sure if it's out yet though. That would be like having 4 GTX 285s.

Is going to take a lot from both companies to take the GTX 295 down with a single card. So I really don't spect the first cards to be that fast. But what comes after will be huge I think.

How did Nvidia start the GT200 series? Was it the GTX 260 190? Look at what we have now. The GTX 295 which is way more powerful.

295 is a fail sandwich card when it was released only made coz of gensen's ego. it doesn't even kill 4870x2 for the price difference.

Potential customer: What is the meaning of life?
nVidia representative: PhysX, as seen in next-gen games like Batman:Arkham Asylum, PhysX makes your g200 based card BETTER than the 58XX series in all aspects. You'd be an idiot to buy ATI when you'd be forfeiting physX

It failed because is too expensive?

Mmmm funny. Nvidia has never been known for the best price. It has been known for the faster cards it offers.

I do kind of agree that I would not not buy one. Well I would buy 2 GTX 295s from Asus if I had the money and wanted the fastest cards around. But you guys say it failed like if it can't beat ATI haha. ATI/AMD still needs to catch up to Nvidia remember that guys. And from what I heard their new card coming out is set to compete with the GTX 285 not the GTX 295.
