Default it sli worth it?

my monitor max resolution is 1440x900 and im planing on buying a foxcon destroyer or msi k9n2 platinum for going sli with dual 1gb 250 gts its worth buying with the monitor that i have?

its 19" gateway 1000:1 contrast ratio

i would get a 260 or 275
250 is a rebranded 9800gtx+ and is only 17mhz faster

22 or higher then u should sli

Can you post the model of your monitor. Having a max resolution of 1440x900 doesn't sound right for a 19" monitor. As far as sli at that resolution, save your money.

Er, for the resolution you have, no. If you had a 1680x1050, then I would give you a big yes, but 1440x900 and 1280x1024 are similar resolutions and don't require SLI. Even 1680x1050 usually doesn't require SLI, but it's usually the starting point resolution. What is your CPU clocked to?

IMO,for the res you'll be playing at sli wouldn't be worth it.Unless your getting a bigger monitor.

For a 19" widescreen? Yes, that's a very common resolution for that size of a monitor.

my cpu is phenom x4 clocked at 2.20ghz and i already bought a 250gts. what bout the motherboard? msi or foxcon and if i do sli with 19"monitor would i have faster frame rates or would it be the same?
