umm, you can get low profile cards. I don't own a slimline but im assuming you're looking for a new GPU.
also, i see you're new to OCN. Welcome to OCN and enjoy your stay here.

Remember to pick a forum appropriate for your topic. Many members and moderators take this quite seriously =/
Anyhow, I'm pretty sure you can go to HP's website and see if the product details include GPU expansion. If it does (without raeping the warranty), then it's likely going to be a low to mid end low-profile graphics card.

Any low profile card will do.

a low profile card?
If you still want to keep your warranty HP probably wants you to send it to them to upgrade it for you at twice the price. A 4770 may fit and they have good performance for the price. Next time build your own PC, its cheaper and you have more fun than buying one

There are couple low-profile cards that are on the market, altho not many of them are good for gaming. I haven't seen a LP 4770 yet, but I know there is a LP 9800GT that should be okay for gaming at resolutions like 1280x1024/1440x900
