Default Have you had significant driver issues with your Nvidia or ATI card?

I saw a poll by another member here asking if people had had any problems with their ATI drivers. I thought it might make more sense to ask if people had had problems with either manufacturer's drivers, since most members here have used products from both Nvidia and ATI.

So, please vote if you have had significant driver issues (not the normal stuff you get every now and then regardless) with either Nvidia cards of ATI.

I can say that I have never had major issues with either on my OWN machine, but I've had driver problems with 9800pro on a customer machine and with Geforce 4 on a customer machine.

Please also comment and tell me the kind of problems you have encountered with either manufacturer's drivers.

I've never had any significant driver issues, experience including a CFX setup.

Every problem I have ever had was insignificant and was usually my fault.

I've had trouble getting them installed. Both camps.

I lucked out and never have gotten the infamous 8800 "nvkddlm.dll has crashed" errors every 5 minutes, which I actually witnessed on both a G80 and G92 8800 in a friend's rig. The G80 would, literally, crash every 30 minutes no matter what, and the G92 would crash about once a day or so.

Luckily both rigs ran Vista, so the driver was rebooted on the fly, and the cards were so damn powerful that games didn't really get unplayable while it did so.

I've had problems with my Nvidia drivers. (If you count crashing in certain games every 30min-1hour and inability to fold without crashing significant)

I've have no problems with ATI drivers.
