The best bet for that money is the ATI4890 for about $200 ($180 if you find a rebate)

An Nvidia equivalent would be the GTX275, but it's more expensive and not necessarily faster.

What resolution and games do you play?

I have an overclocked 8800gt and after a month of research decided to keep it since I'm not really stressing that card right now at 1680x1050

If you feel like you need more performance in your games.

I came to the conclusion that I can run everything fine right now, so no need to upgrade. When I get Dragon age or some other new game and can't put the settings as high, I'll upgrade then.

I anticipate being able to play Dragon age fine too, though.
