Hi guys

I am having a rough time for now. Syr for my bad english, i will do my best to explane my problem.

I just bought 3870x2 for around 90$ and i have uninstaled previous drivers, and cleaned it with CD. Than i put 3870x2 in system...when i push power button, the cards vent just spin up, and keeps spinning but, it wont boot. Well it boots, but screen doesent work...

Than i pluged in 3870 paralel with x2, and constantly changing monitor cable from one to another, and it worked, 3870x2 was on. After restarting PC, everything goes on its begining. I dont know what to do. The card obviusly isnt dead, but has problems with Digital signal or something...dn.

When i plug monitor cable to 3870 i can see 3870x2 in GPU-z.

I tryed on diffrent MBO, the same thing.

I know the man, so he will give back my money, but i wanted that x2 so hard, and dang, it wont work.

maybe i should put new BIOS on it?Or dn, you say, i am listening

1. i did used 2x 6 pin power connector.
2. psu is the cx400 on which i had 3870x2 ddr4, and atomic 3870x2...so it is strong enough.
3. I had 3870x2 on this system before, so it should be working...

Porbably 3870x2 is broken, od DVI outs are dead, or dn...

Well since you are able to get your money back, then just send that one back and find another similar card.

are you trying to push a 3870x2 on a 400W?

3870X2 needs a 6-pin AND 8-pin connector, two 6 pins will probably just beep at you and tell you it doesn't work.

First of all @rpm666, i said that i had two of 3870x2, runing ferfectly on corsair cx 400, and i wont mention that it worked even on an Fortron350PNF. Second of all, it dont need 1x6 and 1x8 pin, it works with 2x6pin.

Yes, i think i will send it back.

edit: Curently it is working, i somehow conected it and it worked, but it only turns on when windows logo starts to appear, i cant see boot screen...?

Anyone evere seen this problem, i am curently with 3870x2, and it works, from time to time it doesent boot, and from time to time it boots, but monitor turns on when windows appear. I cant enter BIOS, but yesterday i could...??

edit: I got it back to owner, and get myself a other 3870x2, so the problem is solved, and that other card is broken...
