Wouldn't the 9800 GT be overkill for dedicated PhysX?
I mean, a 9500 GT would be fine for PhysX

If you already have the card, don't sell it, keep it.

It will work. No SLI bridge required, or Northbridge support, either. Just install the CUDA/PhysX package and you're good to go.

I'd personally just sell it and scrape up a couple more bucks to buy a re-certified 260 from NewEgg, but hey, it's your PC!
![]() And yes, it will work. Don't use an SLI bridge, and yes, you do need the six pin

Would a 8800GTS 512 also do this? I have a GTX295 but still have both my old 8800's that I used in SLI.

The 8800 is the earliest card to support PhysX.
