Default New Card

Hi,

I've been reading a lot of comparisons but the problem is that not all cards are available where i live and their prices are a bit different and sometimes not proportional.

So could you please help me choose the best card from the list?
(I will either get the Samsung 2232GW Wide 22" (1680x1050) or the Benq T2200HD Wide 21.5" TFT (1920x1080) (most probably the Samsung))

Sapphire Radeon HD4870 Vapor-X 2GB DDR5 w/TV $265.00
Inno3D Geforce GTX 260 896MB DDR3 Dual w/TV $224.00
Inno3D Geforce 9800GTX+ 512MB GDDR3 w/TV $192.00
Sapphire HD4850 1GB DDR3 w/TV Vapor-X $170.00
Point Of View Geforce GTS 250 512MB DDR3 Dual w/TV $135.00

I don't want to just go and buy the most expensive card because that means that i'll have to reduce the quality of some other component, rather then buying a less expensive card for just a little less performance.

Thank you.

I would knock the 250 and 9800 off that list and narrow it down to the 4870 or 260

Inno3D .. never dealt with them but there not big so I dont know what would come in the ways of RMA/Support etc.

9800GTX+ ... The GTS 250 is just a renamed 9800GTX+.

GTX 260 is the best of the pack although the 4870 is probably a better option.

Sapphire are a good manufacture and the Vapor-X 2GB is a great card.

So GTX 260, GTS 250 or 4870 are my choices.

Where are you getting your prices for the items in your list? I'm not too familiar with US computer component e-tailers but I did a quick search on newegg and you can get a HD4890 Vapour-X for $195, which would be the obvious choice if you added it to your list

But how will the 2GB of RAM really improve the gameplay if the max resolution i'll play at would be 1920x1080?

Everything costs more. So here, that card would cost an extra 100$ or more.
