if you have say a mobo with ATI integrated graphics and no dedicated card, then it'd be best to install Catalyst drivers, or use the ones from Win7, right? (assuming you use Win7 as the OS)

now, what if you decide to put in an nVidia card, eg a 9800GTX+? do you now remove the Catalyst drivers and put in the nVidia ones?

and if you plug in the monitor into the motherboard's graphics output, and decide to play say Crysis, will the PC be able to use the 9800GTX+ to play the game, or will it be run with the integrated ATI graphics?

Install CCC for all driver features like scaling and color adjustment.

Do you want to run both IGP and discrete? If so, keep both drivers in W7 or XP.

You would plug the primary monitor into the 9800GTX+.

for #2, would keeping both drivers not cause conflicts?

the drivers wont cause conflict, nvidia and ati dont like each other but their code is not programmed to have a war about i, just make sure that the screen is plugged into the card you want the graphics running through
