I recommend getting the card through newegg and waiting the 2-3 days.

The couple days will get you a MUCH better card that will keep you happier longer

A 4670 is similar to the g92 8800 gts and should be better than the card you fried, for as low as $65

I always try to stay in the budget when I post recommendations. But sometimes you can get a MUCH better card for just a few bucks more. The problem is, somebody ELSE then says "yeah but for $50 more you can get XXX"

But yeah, the problem stems from 2 things. The OP not mentioning enough criteria, and posters not reading the OP. It will happen in every forum (but it really is on the rise here lately).

That's if that list is correct for the most part but I have my doubts. I would still check reviews. Just do a google search for the video card you are looking for+review and some are bound to show up.

The GT220 is a cut down 9600GSO 48sp, which is a cut down 9600GT. However, it's still faster than the 9500GT and 4550. (4550 performs more like a 9400GT)
