Just get the GTX 285, then you won't have to deal with nVidia's anti-competitive BS.

The GTX 280. It maintained a more than worthy opposition to the rest of a single GPU cards, easily surpassing the ATi HD 4870.
GTX 285 is a one GTX 280 made in technology of 55 microns instead of 65.
GOOD choice!
