so, i'm helping a friend get their older computer in running order. (socket 478 lol)
its just used for web browsing and MS office, and the occasional oldschool game. anyways, it has an intel 865 IGP but i also have an old nvidia AGP card (geforce 2 MX400) i was wondering which would be better?

Honestly, I think the on-board video is better.

Stresses CPU, better to have something Dedicated.
Go for the nVidia, intel's GPU's are trash.

if an igp is better, its better... its like putting an ancient sound card in a modern motherboard just because its dedicated, doesnt make it better.
