For under $150 the only thing you might be able to get is Radeon 4870 512MB or a 5750. Prices have gone up.

Best card for what?

What resolution?

You can get a 4890 or 5750, or GTX260 core 216 if you fold all for $175

At $150 you can get a cheaper 4870:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-436-_-Product

For $10 more you get vapor-x:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-825-_-Product

If you need DX11 shell out $25 more for the 5750. If not, shell out the extra $25 for a 4890.

Otherwise, a 4870 seems the way to go, but will be outperformed by other cards if you can't spare another $25

Yeah, the 5750 is the way to go for under $150.00. You are a little late because newegg.com was selling a HIS 4890 for $179.00 w/ a $20 MIR for a total of $159.00 + free shipping. That would have been the way to go. That was a great deal.

If you aren't stuck on newegg (they are great) tigerdirect.com has a GTX260 for $169.00 - $35.00 MIR =$134.99. That would be the way to go.

Edit: Rebate is good for • Circuitcity.com • CompUSA Retail Stores • CompUSA.com Website • GlobalComputer.com • TigerDirect.com
Retail Outlets • TigerDirect.com Website
