i M really confused on which card to buy out of all these :

1} ATI 5770

i want the pc mainly for 3D ANIMATION & usually will play few games.
PlS. do not suggest any other cards then this.
As i have finalled upon these cards

THe question arises are :

SAMSUNG 2233SW
WDC 1.5 HDD
Any Cabinet {dont have enough knowledge on this}

the 5770 is faster then the 4870, its actually between 4870 and 4890.

i would say go for the 5770, since it has DX11 and can run games at pretty good quality / goodluck!

Wait you want a 5750 or 5770?

If it's 5770 what you may lose via single card you gain w/ cross-fire. Also w/ the 5770 you add a bit more future proofing. Even if this is for a single card with no future cross-firing i still think you would be happy with a 5770.

I was about to say, CUDA will help with the 3D work. I have a GTX 275 and it handles things very well on 3D work, albeit not like a Quadro can. My vote goes for the 260, though if u want the latest in gaming, it would have to be the 5770.

hey mate,

the 5770 would be the best option in my opinion, the 4870 is still a good card, but the 5770 also has support for all the new awesome features like eyefinity and dx11. the gtx260 i also a mean card, and as far as i know it will smoke the 5770 for FOLDING, but yea, i have heard people saying that the new gpu client is coming sometime which will help ayti cards immensly.

i have owned both a 4870 and a gtx260, but not a 5770, but i preferred the gtx260 over the 4870, although my gtx260 squeeled under load

edit: oh, and avoid the cut down 5770 xfx pcbs
