It looks like the meter is reading 1.24 and staying there. When I turn the dial on the VR, is once around considered a turn or is it a little at a time? It looks like counter clockwise is the way to go but it's not letting me go past 1.24 and making my OC stuck at 767.

![]() i had the same issue at first, but it looked like i just had to turn the knob alot more.. but be carefull, also make sure the multimeter is making good contact (got once a reading of 0.9V when it was at 1.3V because othe other end of the multimeter was not touching the spot correctly)and also make sure the VR is making good contact.. test this by measuring the resistance between the ends of the VR, and see if it stays the same when you dont do anything, then also try to turn the VR to see how the resistance changes.. but REMEMBER to turn off your computer before reading the resistance.. otherwise you will be holding a multimeterbomb

SO I powered off the PC and forgot, how do I do this? I am not good with the meter either so what do I set the dial too and where do I connect the meter sticks?

first set your multimeter to measure resistance (usually a Ohm symbol, almost like a U upsidedown), to test if it works, connect the both ends (sticks, or whatever you call them) to each other, and it should say 0.00, or atleast close to it, and then dont touch anything with the ends and is should say inflite (many multimeters say this as a 1 in the far left) then you know you are measuring the resistance.. then, put the ends to the points where you connected the VR (you can touch the connected spot, or the same side on the VR) and measure the resistance.. if its showing inflite (or 1 in the far left) then make sure you have connected them well, and that you have a proper scale on the VR

Well, looks like connection isn't good. I have measured without the VR and get the same readings, 1.23 so my VR connection is not good. I have tried to re-do it 3 times now and the same results. I will give it another try a bit later this is too frustrating for me.
