Hey there, im considering doing this mod. My question is, would an 18 turn 1K Ohm resistor work? Maplin (UK) sells only 22 turn and 18 turn, it doesnt have 15 turn. Is this a problem?

Thanks

hmm, would it be possible to hook up a mini voltage lcd readout to this?

ex.
(bad drawing, but it should show what I mean)

So you wouldn't have to check it with a volt meter.

BUMP!

Does it matter if the potentiometer is 18 turn rather than 15 turn? Still 1K.

Thanks

18 turn is actualy even better than 15 turn, so it works very well

as with 18-turn, you can adjust the voltage even more precisely, you just need to turn it more
