ive said in a previous post in another part of the forum that i demanded a hand picked card because of faults in my previous 2, this card did 780 wich is stock speed on 1.12v because i wanted to lower heat before the coolermod, and that ended up working out great. then i did the coolermod and the highest bios voltage i could get ( where i just set it to 1.4 but i guess 1.32something is the highest ) and was able to obtain 945 without a sweat.

i would dearly love to get rivatuner working. does anyone have the time to help me get this going? rivatuner tried to disable driver enforcement but seems to fail, possibly why it is locking up on me?

i cant seem to do it manually either.

im starting to wonder what would happen if i were to completely bypass the R1222 resistor? i cant seem to pencil in enough carbon to get past 1.424v. possibly a softer pencil would help?

There is an alternate point you can use. I'm too lazy to find the link but it's on xtremesystems. Look into the vmod section and the thread with hd3870/3850 vmod information. It's on page 11.

also to adjust clocks try a program called amdgpuclock tool, overdrive still has problems.

Buy a Re-Writable CD

And I wouldn't up you voltage any higher (you said it was 1.12v stock right?). I don't know much about ATI cards (so correct me if I'm wrong), but +0.3v seems a lot :P

1.12v sounds like he's reading the voltage when there is no gpu activity. Once the power saving feature is disabled by giving the gpu load it should go to the stock volts of 1.32v
