Forget disks period. Make a bootable flash drive, and select to boot off it when the PC starts up.

1. Make a USB bootable drive using this creator:
USB Boot drive (HPUSBFW)

2. Then download the boot files and extract them to a folder of your choice

3. Run the HPUSBFW program.

Select the correct USB device from the drop-down menu, set file system to FAT32 and check Create a DOS startup disk.

4. Then browse for the extracted boot files (now in the folder of your choice) and press start to begin formating it.

5. Then download the AtiFlash utility and the bios rom and copy it to the bootable USB drive (you will not see any boot files on the drive, which is normal).

ive decided to buy some pot... i mean a potentiometer...

in fact, after finding my card ran 780mhz with 1.12 volts under load, i set the 2d clocks to just under 1v

news on the vmod being, 1.42v is still not enough for 999mhz + but ive got it at 958 now, i figured witht he 1.42v i could still be above 945 :P so i did make some progress.

my next step though is to install a potentiometer, wich would make things mega easy for me, when i want mo' volts, i just turn a knob. i am willing to feed this card up to 1.55v and ive got the heatsink to handle it. and right now at 1.42v temps are up to 65C max under load.

i am somewhat dissapointed in my pencil though, so i broke it. but this will hold over until ive got the materials gathered for the potentiometer.
