Is good for what a pencil mod?If yes is good and don't forget to check any changes with a multimeter.

The harder the pencil, the less graphite will be deposited. Generally, I use softer pencils if a large change in resistance is needed, and harder ones for a small change.
__________________One advantage/disadvantage of harder leads is that they do not rub off as easily.
