What is the BIOS vmod, where do i get the file or how do i make one?

I can only get my 8800gt to stable at 710mhz

the question is kind of double sided: yes and no.
basically, your 8800gt should be able to play most, if not all games (albeit not crysis, duh), at high or max. Although with the VMOD, higher clocks can be achieved and therefore it will perform better, but you have to ask yourself if you really need the extra 1-10 fps.

In my experience with mine, it was more like 15-25 FPS increase. In that case, it is more than worth it to me.
