I won't lie... it takes balls to put a soldering iron to a $300+ card like the gtx285.
At least Softmods still warrant an RMA if you screw it up, and most of them don't let you screw up too badly. But these softmods are misleading... it doesn't work for "almost any" gpu... Only ones with the right voltage regulators.
