I used to have two 4850s and know the pencil vmod... I'm not seeing the spot for it on that card which is leading me to think that's a non-reference PCB layout?

I used to have that exact card, and yes it is a non reference pcb. Check Techpowerup, I swear there was a volt mod guide on there somewhere...

I fried mine trying to do it lol <.< then I went to and got a new card, then I got a 4770 and flashed it with the TOP bios. Which I got stable at 915/1000 from 750/800. Now I have a GTX260

i bios flashed mine to the toxic bios, and it allowed me to get 700/1030, which is pretty good as i could only get 640/1000 before
