Hey there guys, I dont think there are any confirmed GPUv mods for this PCB rev...so I picked some up to check them out.
![]() I give you the Diamond, HD4850...with a funky green PCB. ![]() GPUv mod is with the RT8841.... using pin6-> to 50kVR...here are a few closeups of the mod area overview: ![]() GPUv mod point: ![]() vMEM mod point: ![]() GPUv mod installed on 2x : ![]() ![]() closeup of GPUv mod point : ![]() backside, with additional cans installed...1x / GPUv power phase : ![]() and finally a shot of them installed and running ![]() ![]() I done have any benchies to post yet..but will say that I did break 19k using my E7400 at sig'd speeds. Currently having issues getting the 2nd GPU to flash with new clock speeds.... will post back with some solid 3D scores though

Easier to solder and saves a bit of space I guess.
I love clean Vmods

Yup..they can be a pain to solder...wobblin all over the place. Bending the legs helps save room for clearance and makes it easy to secure them in place.

Clocks are at 755mhz core for now... having issues getting RBE to flash the 2nd GPU with higher startup clocks..Oh, and the GPU's are still on stock cooling, at 1.255v so far too...maybe see 800mhz with stock cooler if I'm lucky.
*just testing until they go in-loop for some real voltage.

Always thought they were the ugliest 4850s.
...but it is nice to see someone loving the ugly duckings =P Subbing this, just because I love 4850s and voltmods; and I want to see >800 core. Remember - It's not overheating until is solidly breaks 100C
