Just a FYI to stick in this thread.

I run my 5900xt at 1.6 v all day long, infact If i now turn it back down i get tearing, even at stock speeds.

Base clocks are 390/700

But I can run it at 480/886 ( thats coolbits optimum setting)

But daily i let her plug along at 425/800

You obviously volt modded your core, but did you have to change your memory timings to get those speeds?

632MHz is the End!
I had some spare time today,so I flashed my FX5900 with the Leadtek's FX5950 Ultra's BIOS and it works well. The odd thing is that RivaTuner no longer allows any clock adjustment. I have yet to dig around and see what exactly is going on, but I intend on verifying that the voltage was increased by .01 and also to test how much my OC improved. It appears that the Leadtek BIOS disables temperature reporting....at least it did on my card.

Edit: Just an FYI for anyone reading, the stock clocks were 400/850 on my FX5900. The stock clocks with the 5950 Ultra BIOS are 475/950.
