Default 5700 Ultra BIOS Volt-Mod

I know that you can phisicaly Volt-Mod the Graphics card, but I have heard or horror stories of people touching the wrong thing and blowing their card up, so I will just go the simpler way.

I want to Mod my graphics cards BIOS to up the voltage from 1.4V on 3D to 1.5V on 3D. But the memory is hard, you have to hex edit that or something....

Anyway, is this a small, safe jump? the stock cooling never went above 40C @ 550/1000Mhz So i am hoping for 600Mhz+ on the Core.

So is this safe jump? what is the limit volt-wise? Also, if someone could help with the RAM voltage that would be aswome!

Thanks Agian!

Anyone?

I just want to know if it is a safe jump to 1.5V and how much OC will it free up?

Also, anyone have any idea where the RAM voltages are?

Thanks

the BIOS volt modding doesn't always work. But 1.4v to 1.5v you should be fine

Yeah, 1.5 volts is not a problem, as long as your temps are good. And BTW, harware volt modding isn't too difficult, if you have experience that is

Use a ASUS or Leadtek BIOS!!!

In these you can change the vcore and in "for example BfG or Albatron"

the voltage is locked!

In my Albatron work a Leadtek BIOS and raise my VCore up to 1.55 and get 603MHz on the Core! With 1.6 I get 632MHz! If I go higher there is not more!
632MHz is the End!

If raise your voltage past 1.5 than you need watercooling on the Core or you pop it up!

Hope It Help!

PS: Tell us if it work or not! Thanks!!!

Could you possible upload the Leadtek BIOS here? All the links I've found are too old and have been deleted. I also have an Albatron 5900 that I want to flash to 5950 for the added voltage and looser mem timings.
