Default WD Caviar or WD Raptor?

I have a 250 Gb 16Mb Cache Caviar hardrive, is it worth it getting a 74Gb or 150 Gb raptor for my primary drive? The hardrive will cost around 300 to 500 bucks. Or should i just buy another Caviar and run Raid 0?
