How can you tell if your Hdd is running at 300 and not 150 in windows, what software will tell you?

On nVidia chipset motherboards you can go into Device Manager -> IDE/ATAPI Controllers -> (First sata controller available) -> Primary Channel (Or secondary) then Speed Test. The Burst rate is the speed of what it's running.
