Default ...Another RAID Question
Sorry if this has been asked before...

I currently have a 200gb udma100 8mb 7200rpm western digital hd. I want to get a maxtor udma100 8mb 7200rpm 200gb hd and put it in raid with my current WD. Is this possible? Anyone else have raid with mixed brands? Can I even go SATA with my second drive?

You probably can put those 2 in RAID even though they're not the same brand. However, you won't get the best performance because their seek time, latency, and other specs will differ.
