I believe a single Raptor would win or very close. However, I would still recommend RAID0 72000.10s. MUCH better price/GB and very close performance.

'Cudas would win. And you would have 8 times the capacity for the same price.

Personally Id get the Raptor. Then later down the road you can save up for another Raptor, put those in RAID-0, and they'll destroy any other setup.

so you are saying buy 2 raptors for the price of £320 and theat will beat the 2 cuda's, for the price of the 2 raptor i could buy 4 'cuda 320gb which surely would be the better option as i already have 2 sittin infront of me

2 cudas!..Was in the same predicament and went with those. The big thing was that you're getting pretty much same performance with the SATA II interface. Now, when the raptors are implemented to the SATA II, then I'll jump on the Raptor, but right now, price for the performance, you cant beat the Cudas.

2 7200.10s. People are getting some insane RAID0 benchies with those things. I have one too....and they are great.
