Default RAID 0 working!

Yesterday i finnaly convinced my dad to reinstall XP home , and get the drives in Raid 0.
7 hours later and it's working!!!!!
iT'S BLAZING FAST!
Now , i need some advices:
Is there any specail things that i need to know about raid?like doing more frequente defrags, etc?
My motherboard Asus P5ND2-SLI Deluxe Supports SataII, and so do my disks, but i never got them working in sata 2.How can i do that?

jumpers on back of drive may indicate sata 150 compared to sata II(3gb/s)

i tried taking out the jumper, it didn't worked in sata2, and when i limited to sata 1. the sustained buffering reading was 70mbs .
Now it's 200mbs

DO you have any tips , on how to improve boot times , and/or maintain raid?
I'm in a semi-clean xp installation, only 10 programs are installed
