Iam going with 2 seagate 7200.10 3.0g sata hard drives. But i have two options i think 1. via raid setup or promise . I am running an asus av8 deluxe motherboard. Ihavent a clue which i should be running. ALL help would be great and which raid setup is best

i think the promise controller is better but i'm not all that sure about it. i think the only way to tell for sure is to test it.

If the Promise controller isn't integrated, the VIA should do better. If it is, the Promise should do better.

the promise is and so is via i think i have two red and two brown sata connectors on my mb.

I have raid installed works great . I went with raid0 . I have not tried loading any games yetbut so far it is sweet. Ialso went with via setup and windows vista SO reps to you guys
