Alright. OCed too much, had to clear CMOS. In order to get to the CMOS jumper, had to unplug the SATA cable. No big deal.
Plugged it back in (same port and everything), and no when I start Windows, it asks me if I want to remove my C:\ drive Safely. I click no, which would be fine. But. 1) Drops my 3DMark05 score by ~650 points when it's running. 2) It asks me everytime I start. Quite annoying. 3) It's annoying. >_> THATS what I'm talking about. When I click on it, my C: HDD with all its partitions come up. (D, E, F, H) and ask me if I want to stop 'em. For the hell of it I tried it, and just told me I can't. >_>;; Help?

Pull the battery instead of using the jumpers, that way the SATA can still be connected and not give Windoze brainfarts.

SATA is hot swappable. This is normal for SATA drives.
I think you can solve it by setting the SATA drive to IDE emulation or something like that.

mine used to do it, but no longer does. i think it depends on the type of socket on the mobo.

Like I said, it wouldn't bother me, but it never used to do it.
And now that it does, it gives me a ~650 point drop in 3DMark05. Since I was going to try to break 8000 with a 7600GT (was at ~7730), not good news. ![]() Going to try a different SATA port now...
