Help...DBAN and RAID...What happened?
Ok so here is the Dillema, last night I decided to use DBAN to wipe my D:\ drive on my PC. The whole reason I did this is because Vista wouldn't allow me to reformat. I concluded that it wouldn't let me because that drive housed a no longer used XP and it was denying my reformat because of the critical system files that were paired with XP.
Well here is the problem I used DBAN, on the D:\ and my C:\ is a RAID0 setup using 2 WD250GB HDD's. Well I know for a fact that I selected the Third drive and only the third drive, the D:\ drive....well...I'm freaking out because my computer won't boot the OS, and is displaying symptoms as if my Raid drives were also blasted.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might have happened? The support for DBAN is terrible and there is really no advisement as to how it would affect a Raid setup.
