I guess you could paint them any color to match your theme for your comp. I am going to paint the inside of my case black, and my SATA cables are red, so I will paint them black to blend it.

umm.... I don't mean to take anything away from the author, but what is this? how tto make red cables black....paint them. whats the big deal you guys couldn't figure this out on your own?
