Default 7200.11 500GB now is stock!

Finally a couple places are saying they have them in stock, here is one, and here is another. The part number is ST3500320AS. I'll be ordering mine hopefully later today so don't go buying them all up. Report back once you get one on if you indeed get over 100mb/s transfer speeds.

To answer most of your questions: (1) a fridge cannot cool a PC (2) 64-bit OS for over 3.4GB (3) If a PCIe card fits, it should work (4) Resolution, not screen size (5) If you have a question, it is not news (6) Report, not respond to Spam (7) Single-Rail/Non-Modular PSUs are not always better than Multi-Rail/Modular (8) Sequential does not matter as much as random for OS drives

over 100mb/s sustained transfer speed? it sounds more like a RAID 0 number~ if it can do over 100mb/s sustained, it will be a revolutionary HDD.

I am suspecting it does 80~85mb/s for a single drive, which is still quite good.

Seagate said that it has a 100+mb/s transfer rate. Go check up their press releases.

Seagate has them listed with sustained transfer speeds of 105 mb/s.

The 7200.10's in some cases can already do 80 mb/s transfers.
