Hi all I dont know if this something to be concerned about or not. The hard drive in my sig is barely a month and a half old. When I first got it seemed normal, but now I can hear the drive over anything else in my comp. Isit about two feet from my comp, and when the drive starts working, man is that all you hear.

Well, my hardrive also makes alot of noise when loading something big, I dont know if its always making noise at your place but it should only make noise when loading something, shouldn't make so much noise though that its bothering. You could always send it back and ask another one, if the problem continues, i guess that (if it really bothers you) get a refund or choose (?) an other one.

It dosnt really bother me, and if you read my post I said it makes noise when it starts to work, ie loading something. Its all just strange how its gotten so much louder so quick. The only way I can kind of drown it out when loading is to turn both my fm121s up max, but then I can still hear the drive through the noise of the fans.
